An amazing experience is to participate and observe an individual improve the quality of their mental health and their life through personalized and collaborative treatment plans that include medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle educational strategies. I value mental health as a core element in achieving recovery and a meaningful life through the instillation of hope, connection, and empowerment of the individual.
I am a Master’s prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been caring for individuals in behavioral health since 2012. With my experience in working with various people over the years, I have engaged with those in crisis or struggling in some of the most difficult times in their lives. I pride myself in my empathic and genuine approach to treating the entire mind, body, and spirit of the individual struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, thought and memory issues, as well as child and adolescent mental health. I offer this in a calm, relaxing, and friendly environment that welcomes the individual during their most vulnerable time in their life. My passion is to guide others through a journey to a life with self-realization and mental well-being.
I specialize in working with adults and older adult populations in medication management, but I am prepared to work with teens that are additionally engaged in psychotherapeutic treatment. I enjoy working with the transitional aged youth (18 to 25 years-old), struggling with their conversion from adolescence into adulthood. Additionally, I am receptive in evaluating specific childhood difficulties, such as attention deficit/hyperactivity issues including impulse control problems.
